Mrs. Boatman's class enjoyed a twist for fun Friday! Old fashion board games and puzzles were so much fun! Students enjoyed a reward for working hard all week long and being great listeners!

Mrs. Adam's classed fiished a unit on families this week with the story of the Three Bears. They celebrated by eating bear cookies and tasting porridge. Students gave a thumbs up if they liked it and a thumbs down if they didn’t . All but 3 students liked it! 🤪To finish up they acted out the story. This was completely un- rehearsed, but it was so cute and fun!

Join us for PTO/Literacy Night Tuesday, September 1st from 5:30-6:30. We will meet for a brief introduction of our PTO officers and then go to classrooms to meet with teachers. Students will receive Topper Tokens as a reward for parent attendance.
HLES had some special visitors at our monthly student assembly to come talk to them about compassion. Compassion will be our September student of the month trait that we will focus on. #HLES #WhereLearningBegins
