Health Science students are selling raffle chances for a gift basket to help support their class and lab activities. Chances are $5 for one or $20 for five. Our teachers, their families, and CTE students were excited to take part in the 75th Annual Houston Christmas Parade this week. The float highlighted each of our CTE programs and the amazing students who represent them. It was a great opportunity for our programs to come together and celebrate the start of the holiday season with our community.

Mrs. Myatt’s Health Science students brought some Halloween cheer to Trend Nursing Home this week! They passed out festive goody bags and spent time brightening the residents’ day.

Our culinary students had an amazing hands-on experience today at our local Hardee’s! They rolled up their sleeves and got to work — making biscuits from scratch, frying up golden chicken, and whipping up delicious omelets alongside the Hardee’s team.
This visit gave our students a taste of what it’s like to work in a fast-paced professional kitchen, while building their confidence and culinary skills.

Mrs. Griffin’s second-year Health Science students put their first aid knowledge to the test during a mock disaster day! Mrs. Myatt’s students participated as patients, giving the second-year students the opportunity to triage and treat injuries in a realistic, hands-on scenario. Great teamwork and learning in action!
Mrs. Moss’s Business, Marketing & Finance II students explored Human Resources Management in action through a creative pumpkin-themed activity! Students used pumpkins to demonstrate HR concepts like teamwork, leadership, and employee motivation, applying real-world skills in a fun and engaging way.
