Our HMS Jr. FFA Christmas Food Drive has been underway for several weeks, and we’re in the home stretch! We’re back from Thanksgiving Break, and this is the final week to participate. All donations will go to support Houston families through Ashley’s Angels.
Students may bring non-perishable items to their first-period teacher through Wednesday, December 3rd. Every five items earns a 5-point coupon.

Congratulations to Ms. Duncan, Mrs. Johnson, and Ms. Gayden—the winners of this week’s PBIS fundraiser! Each winner got the chance to dress up as a turkey for a day, and today was Ms. Gayden’s turn to bring the holiday spirit to campus in full turkey style.
A huge thank-you to Grocer’s Pride of Houston for generously donating turkeys to our three winners. Their support helps make fun incentives like this possible for our students and staff.

Houston Middle School brought the energy today with an unforgettable Homecoming Pep Rally! The HHS Band kicked things off with an electric performance, followed by our spirited HMS Cheerleaders who had the crowd on their feet. After the grand entrance of our Homecoming Court, the Speech and Drama students wowed everyone with a creative skit that stole the show.
The teachers then took the fun to another level with an amazing race—complete with blow-up costumes—that had students laughing and cheering from start to finish! And the excitement didn’t stop there... Mrs. Joyce Moore won the HMS PTO’s Kiss the Pig Contest, but when the pig made a quick escape, she kissed a goat instead! 🐐💋
Join us tonight for the HMS Homecoming Basketball Game as the Hilltoppers take on Houlka! The first game tips off at 5 PM, and admission is $7. Come out and support our Hilltoppers!
