Good Afternoon Parents! Just a couple of quick reminders. Tonight's HMS/JV Football game is now scheduled as a home game, right here at Topper Field! Our 7th Grade team will start at 5:30 p.m. Our 8th Grade and Junior Varsity teams will follow. Also, please remember HHS's Clear Bag Policy is for all Football games, including tonight's games.

Yesterday our 8th Grade Math students completed group rotations in our cafeteria! Ms. Brown and Lancaster are preparing our Toppers for their 1st 8th Grade Math Assessment today! #WhereChampionsAreMade

This morning all Chickasaw County Schools District schools will be participating in a Lockdown Drill with Law Enforcement Officers. This is to practice procedures to keep students and staff safe. Again, this is only a drill.

Today in Principles of Agriculture Mr. Johnson let our Toppers taste the difference between store bought and local milk and honey. He also brought four baby chicks for our students to learn about. Mr. Johnson would also like to invite all 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students to join the Houston Jr. FFA Club! All HMS Science Teachers will have application packets for our Toppers Monday morning. Open House will be this evening, August 3rd from 3 p.m to 7p.m. The teachers and staff at HMS are excited to meet our Toppers!

Registration for the upcoming school year for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be July 18th and July 20th from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Remember, all students must be registered.

Congratulations to our Business and Marketing Fundamentals students visited Hollye Kirk with Eaton Automotive today. Students learned about careers in the automotive industry and the importance of good credit!
