Our HUES teacher spotlight goes to Mrs. Lysbeth Parker. We are blessed to have her. She does a wonderful job with our GT students as well as helping out wherever she is needed.

Shoutout to our amazing school counselor at HUES, Mrs. Creadence Randle, for always being a steady, caring presence for our students and staff 💙. Your support, compassion, and commitment make a real difference every single day! We are very lucky to have her at HUES.

All CCSD schools will resume classes and follow the normal schedule on Thursday, January 29, 2026.

Due to the fact that we still have dangerous travel conditions and impact on staff who commute from outside the district, all CCSD schools will be closed on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. The safety of our students and staff are our top priority. We appreciate the flexibility and understanding as we make these difficult decisions. We will continue to evaluate the current situation and make an announcement Wednesday afternoon concerning Thursday.

Tomorrow night's basketball 🏀 game against Mooreville has been moved to Thursday, January 29 @ 5:00 PM.

HUES Jr. Beta is excited to launch our newest service project supporting local dog rescues! Please consider donating supplies to make a difference in the lives of rescue animals. Every contribution helps! Donations can be dropped off at the HUES office.

All CCSD schools will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The safety of our students and staff are our top priority. We appreciate the flexibility and understanding as we make these difficult decisions. We will make an announcement Tuesday afternoon concerning Wednesday.

Due to the probability of hazardous road conditions overnight and tomorrow, the Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we strive to keep our students and staff safe.

2026 CCSD Valentine's Day Delivery Policy

This morning we will be conducting Lockdown Drills with Law Enforcement officers at all CCSD schools. These drills are done to practice and to improve our safety procedures. Again, today is only a drill.
