HUES Awards' Day Schedule for May 19, 2026

Teachers at HUES worked hard this past week by getting all their ducks in a row for state testing. They also worked hard on finding lots of ducks! Mrs Burt won by finding 154 mini ducks!

The Jr. Beta Club at HUES proudly continues to contribute to our beautification project by helping purchase new umbrellas for teachers and students to use while playing on the playground or when needed for an outdoor classroom. These umbrellas also provide much-needed shade and comfort, creating a more enjoyable and welcoming outdoor space for everyone. Through this effort, Jr. Beta members are making a lasting impact by improving our campus and supporting the well-being of our school community. Thank you, Jr. Beta and Mrs. Hanna Burt for leading them in the various projects throughout the year!

HUES' Teacher Spotlight goes to Ms. Beverly Floyd. She is a 4th grade inclusion teacher that provides continual support for her students. She does a great job! She is a wonderful asset to HUES. We are thankful she is a part of our family.

K4/K5 registration is today and tomorrow at Houston Lower! It is from 8:00-3:00 today and 10:00-5:00 Wednesday!
