During students' special class time this week at HUES, our school counselor, Mrs. Randle, is leading a lesson and helping students learn more about cooperation. Cooperation is February's PBIS characteristic trait. This trait is important for our young students to consistently practice early in life as it will only help them be more successful! #gotoppers #cooperation #striveforsuccess

Mrs. Smith's 4th grade Math class was taking on comparing fractions in a fun, "hearty" way this morning! Students are reviewing comparing fractions with their partners. They are explaining why their fractions are equal, bigger, or smaller. Keep up the great work, Mrs. Smith!

HUES teachers rock! The teachers who were at work everyday in the months of December and January; their names were placed in a drawing! These lucky teachers’ names were drawn and won these nice cups! Thank you Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Lovell for all that you do for our kids! Keep shining bright!

Thank you to Mr. Carlos Chevez and Mr. Frank Alford for their donation of this outside heater. On very cold days, the teachers who still have to serve duty anyway will appreciate this. Thank you very much for the thoughtful gift to HUES!
