2024 Chickasaw County School District Valentines Day Policy.


All Chickasaw County School District schools and offices will return to normal schedule on Tuesday, January 23, 2024.

Due to the continuing dangerous road conditions on many county roads throughout the District, Chickasaw County Schools will be closed on Monday, January 22, 2024. Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday, January, 23, 2024.




The Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Friday, January 19, 2024. We plan to resume classes as normal on Monday, January 22, 2024.

The Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Thursday, January 18, 2024 due to winter weather. We will provide an update on Thursday afternoon concerning the return to school on Friday.

The Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 due to winter weather. We will provide an update at 6:30 pm on Wednesday afternoon concerning the return to school.

The Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 16, 2024 due to the winter weather. We will provide updates on Tuesday as soon as possible concerning the return to school on Wednesday.

Due to the threat of very high winds and strong storms, the Chickasaw County School District will be closed on Friday, January 12, 2024. Schools will also be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024 in observance of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday.

What a great day at HHS! Milken Educator Awards Vice President Stephanie Bishop presents HHS math teacher Anna Katherine Davis with the 2023-2024 Mississippi Milken Educator Award and $25,000. Ms. Davis is the first educator in Chickasaw County School District to receive a Milken Award! It's an assembly the Houston High Hilltoppers will remember forever!
