Started our Friday at HUES with high fives and handshakes with football players and cheerleaders! We cannot wait for our first home game tonight!
This morning we will be conducting Lockdown Drills with Law Enforcement officers at all CCSD schools. These drills are done to practice and to improve our safety procedures. Again, today is only a drill.

Learning stations are an awesome approach 💥. HMS students are preparing for their common assessment on classifying numbers, irrational approximations, squaring cubes root equations, and converting fractions and decimals while interacting with classmates.

HUES had their 2nd annual Back to School Bash tonight! The rain did not seem to stop anyone from coming. We had over 300 families and students that came! WOW! Such a great turnout, and our students had a blast! Thank you to all who came and supported a great event. There will be pictures posted soon.
HUES students had an exciting time this morning while watching The Ned Show. It was so fun, engaging, and a great opportunity to listen to a story about how to never give up, encourage others, and do your best! What a great way to start the year as our students continue learning these three very important life skills.
