Today was an exciting day at HHS! All of our 9th grade students had the opportunity to meet with Houston Mayor Stacey Parker, Woodland Mayor Patti Pettit, Houston Alderwoman Shenia Kirby-Jones, and Alderwoman Kirbi Dendy. 🙌
Together, they introduced the Mayor’s Youth Council—a brand-new opportunity for our HHS 9th graders who want to take an active role in serving and shaping our community.
We are so proud of our students for stepping up as leaders, and we can’t wait to see the positive impact they will make right here at home. 🏡✨
