Kinley Hallmark is a part of the FCA. Their goal is to reach more students for Christ meaning we strive to not only meet Jesus on Wednesday mornings but spread His Word to the entire school and community. This year, back in the fall, they hosted HHS’s first Field of Faith. They gathered together on Friday nights at the football field, worshiped together, and shared testimonies. It's been really great to see God move this year in our club and school.
My favorite part about FCA is probably getting to go to the other schools in our district and speak to students about Christ. As far as I know, we’ve always gone to the Middle School on Thursday mornings for FCA, and it's so great to see so many young people there who take time out of their day to gather in the name of Jesus. We’ve also started something new this year by going to the Upper as well. That’s probably been my favorite part this year because we get to speak to the fifth graders, who are such a lively and fun age group. It's so inspiring to see their hunger for the Lord at such an early age.
FCA is hosting a worship night on May 3 at 6:30 pm in the high school auditorium. Please come out and join them in finding “Freedom in Surrender.”

Ms. Mosley goes over the benchmark to help the students understand some of the passages and questions they missed on the last benchmark before the state tests. #workforit #expectsuccess

This week at Houston High School, it was time for our student-athletes to complete their physicals. During this time, all student-athletes for the upcoming school year must complete a physical to ensure they are able to play their respective sports. Nurses from Webster Urgent Care were a huge help this year as they took time out of their day to come and help approve and complete physicals.
