Houston High School Beta students are participating in a Rube Goldberg engineering challenge at the state Beta convention in late February. We have to bring a lot of supplies for the challenge. If you have any of these items that you are willing to donate HHS Beta Sponsor Elizabeth Sudduth.

Houston High School is excited to announce the launch of a new student organization, HHS History Buffs. This club gives students hands on opportunities to explore history, civics, and global affairs through interactive simulations, leadership experiences, and schoolwide events. Members will take part in activities such as country simulations, Model UN, and civic engagement projects. We look forward to seeing students grow more excited about history and civics, ask deeper questions, and engage with learning in new and creative ways through HHS History Buffs.

Today, HHS Senior student-athlete, Shawn Buchanan, gave of his time to visit the Lower elementary to read to some of our Tiny Toppers! He spoke to them about the importance of school and learning to read! This is what student leadership looks like! Great job, Shawn! #ExpectSuccess
