This week at Houston High School, it was time for our student-athletes to complete their physicals. During this time, all student-athletes for the upcoming school year must complete a physical to ensure they are able to play their respective sports. Nurses from Webster Urgent Care were a huge help this year as they took time out of their day to come and help approve and complete physicals.

Houston Health Science Classes (HOSA) hosted a blood drive on April 12 to get people to donate and help save lives. They hosted this blood drive because of the shortage of blood in North Mississippi. Some benefits of donating blood include reducing the chances of severe heart disease since it reduces the amount of iron in your body. Pictured students donating blood: Lazavion Davidson, Bryanna Ward, and Jeremy Cooper
