Houston High School Beta Club recently took a trip to Biloxi to compete at the Beta Convention. Jayden Lawrence competed against more than 20 groups in Solo, Duo, and Trio- Vocalist. He placed 1st place in the first round, and advanced to the finalist where he also placed 1st. Jayden will now be attending Nationals this June in Savannah, Georgia.

The Topper Pride Band, under the direction of Eric Malone and Kurt Hickey, has been preparing for their concert band competition.
