The Houston High School Topper Pride Band has spent the past week and a half working on the music for the Veterans Day program.

On Thursday, Mrs. Buss visited Mrs. Mosley’s English II classes to go over different strategies for passing the state test. During class, she assigned students an article with six questions to complete. #ExpectSuccess

Culinary students join hands to pray over the Thanksgiving food that they have prepared. They also say what they are thankful for this Thanksgiving. They came together and made a whole Thanksgiving meal like one big happy family. Fredriana Haynes stated “This Thanksgiving meal took a lot of time and effort, but we made it happen. I am truly thankful for my fellow classmates and enjoyed this Thanksgiving meal with them.” #ExpectSuccess

HHS journalism students attended the Mississippi Journalism State Conference held at the University of Southern Miss. Students attended sessions and learned from professional journalists and journalism teachers. #ExpectSuccess

The Sensory Garden in Mrs. Sweet's room is growing! Students planted some cilantro, arugula, and kale yesterday. We love our grow lights and plants and students get excited about new growth. #ExpectSuccess
